About Culture

Access to culture is a right, dignifies the person and normalizes their full inclusion in society. Acerca Cultura was born in 2006 with the desire to improve the lives of people in vulnerable situations, through culture.

FESTIGUAL celebrates its sixth anniversary this year. Six years making visible the work of all the people and entities that fight every day for a more open culture, with fewer barriers and that includes all ways of perceiving reality.
FESTIGUAL is an essential showcase for all that background work, rehearsals and creative processes that any artistic activity entails, to be exposed to the general public.
Regardless of our physical or cognitive conditions, we claim the right to the full enjoyment of culture. We want standardized spaces for our artistic and cultural manifestations outside the therapeutic or occupational circuit. We want a fairer, more equal and more diverse world.

Linked Dance Company

Dance seeks an aesthetic harmony that especially enhances certain canons of beauty. But what if we change these canons of beauty? What if we move away from standardization and celebrate heterogeneity as a valuable tool of artistic creation? Perhaps thus, in the so-called time of crisis, in which we are all more aware of the importance of having basic needs covered, it is time to change the bases in order to generate a society that does not stigmatize the weakest, a society in which we value difference as a fundamental principle of equality. And as creators and spectators of the performing arts we all have the responsibility, the privilege and the ability to produce spaces and messages that establish new standards of beauty to promote inclusion not as an exception, but as a norm.

When a body is in motion it inevitably connects with time and space, focusing the mind and emotions on that unique moment.

Let's dance to reconnect with ourselves and with those we love!

Let's dance so that we all feel loved and find happiness!
