Imaginate is Scotland's national organization that promotes, develops and celebrates theater and dance for children and young people.

We want more children in Scotland to experience deeply engaging, innovative and inspiring work. We believe and defend that all children have the right to develop their creativity and emotional intelligence and reach their true potential. Our vision is driven by the belief that inspiring our young people is essential not only to their individual development, but also to the development of Scotland, its economy and its place in the world.

We strive to achieve this ambition through the delivery of:

A world-class theater and dance festival for children.

Dalija Acin Thelander

Throughout my choreographic practice, I aspire to introduce a broader understanding of dance and choreography in the context of artistic and social experience. I work with choreography as an expanded practice - which takes as its starting point a rethinking of choreography as a general reference for any structuring - extended beyond dance, body expression, representation and style. I perceive choreography as the organization of attention and, as such, I apply it to strategies, protocols, spatial structures and the movement of the audience itself.

Diversity. Art. Social participation. Job insertion. These are some of
the fundamental pieces of a puzzle that Danza Mobile set out to assemble in
1995 through a project with which to create

accessible theater

Accessible Theater is a pioneering project in Spain dedicated to integrating accessibility measures in the theater. It was created in 2011 with the support of the Vodafone Foundation, the Nueva Vida Labor Rehabilitation Center and the technology and accessibility company, Aptent. We are a multidisciplinary team made up of subtitlers, audio describers, accessibility technicians, audiovisual producers, sign language interpreters, engineers and cultural managers.

We adapt plays incorporating subtitling, audio description and sign language. We equip cultural centers with FM hearing aid systems and organize inclusive experiences such as touch tours and accessible colloquiums.

In 12 seasons of Accessible Theater, more than 16,000 elderly people and people with hearing disabilities, visual disabilities and cognitive disabilities have benefited.
