Threads in the air

Threads in the Air immerses us in the fascinating world of Concha Méndez, a world of poems, seas and journeys. The starting point and reference point are her memoirs: Spoken Memories, Armed Memories, written by her granddaughter Paloma Ulacia from a series of meetings between them and recorded religiously every week for several months. With Threads in the Air we wanted to pay tribute not only to the creative and artistic woman, but also to that adventurous, tenacious, tireless spirit; to the ship captain she dreamed of being as a child, to the poet in the blue overalls, as she was called in her time, to the grandmother in exile who gathered her memories to tell her granddaughter a fascinating life, a life that deserves to be told.

The show is a collective and original creation that combines Concha's two passions: poetry and theatre. With a dramaturgy based on her memoirs and poems, we bring to the stage a proposal that combines shadow theatre, objects and audiovisuals.

At

When Jaime and Simon find Angel they don't care that he is different, a friendship so deep will be born between them that it will make them discover a new and unknown world. Thanks to this they will finally be able to become the sole owners of their destiny. In our hands is the power to build possibilities in our existence that develop with the freedom and joy of a dream where the endings are natural, where the need for evolution and the outcomes are part of the game itself. This show is set in an imagined or future world more than possible, like a children's game where the origin and the end of things are extremes of a line that touch to form a circle of life. Hands or bodies, objects or machines, movement or stillness, lights or shadows.

Its realism

The show SU REALISMO aims to bring the aesthetics of the surrealist movement closer to different and incomprehensible plastic suggestions, in which the aesthetics of the absurd and the transformation of reality become important. The show will put aesthetic norms, rationality or objectivity, among others, in contradiction. A contemporary dance show that breaks the concept

Playful Tiger

Playful Tiger is a sensory show for children and young people with complex needs.

DETUATU

What happens when two people, regardless of race or condition, without prejudice, meet alone? What emerges from this intimate, sincere encounter? DETUATU is a journey into the introspection of personal relationships that arise in the duo, when one individual is in front of another, there are no third parties, there are no interferences and after that moment of courtesy inherent in every communication process, things begin to happen. Truth, boredom, play, love, understanding, listening, anger, fragility, complicity, manipulation, trust are born… And these couples, as part of a complex fractal, as part of an apparently irregular geometry that is repeated at different scales, how will they interact when relating to others?

Cities I

A creation for the little ones that uses the body, the poetics of movement and music to serve the installation. Patricia Ruz and Alberto Romera, a professional actor and dancer with Down syndrome, tell us about a day in the city. The story of two people who decide to leave the countryside to discover a new place, the city. A round trip that will leave a mark on them and on the place, becoming imprinted by the experience of both and their sharing. The piece was born from the need to continue working for young children and to integrate diversity on stage. There are hardly any shows for this very young audience that include artists with disabilities.

the yapa

A meeting in the square, a celebration, a beach, a catharsis of joy, the injustices that overwhelm us, a nostalgia for the abandoned land, a grotesque, some towels. In short, a space where everything happens, superimposed, in spurts and in fragments. A place where life passes us by, where the evolution of everyday life overwhelms us, and where despite everything, we celebrate that we are there, that we are.
